The Alderney Housing Association (AHA) were pleased to hold an open morning on Wednesday 14th September between 9.30 and 12.30, for the community to attend and find out about AHA’s work. During the morning two volunteer Board Directors and Manager were able to answer queries from 11 people who attended, including tenants and a number of States Members. Four members of the public came to find out more about the work of the housing association.
The main aspects of the morning were to discuss who AHA are, what AHA do, how AHA are financed, who AHA house and how they carry out their work. In response to one of the questions asked, AHA confirmed that they constantly monitor and do what they can to respond to the housing needs of the local community in relation to their waiting list and the available social housing. The AHA office is open Monday to Friday 8.30-12.30
