You will only be allowed to have a pet if you meet the following criteria:
you must live in a suitable property. The AHA Manager will assess this.

What do I need to do?
Complete the pet application form
Send the application form to or give it to the AHA Manager

Why should I look after my pet?
If you have a pet living at your property then you must look after it. For instance, if you walk your pet then you must immediately clean up after it and securely and hygienically discard the pet droppings in a designated bin or by disposing of it in your home.
If you have a cat, then the cat litter must be disposed of in the bin, and not in any toilet. If not, it might become a nuisance and a health hazard to other tenants living nearby.
If you don’t clean up adequately after your pet then this may lead to a breach of your tenancy and you may not be able to keep your pet.
